Ingredients

  • 1 lb spaghetti
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 4 tbsp butter divided
  • 1 cup feta cheese crumbled
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese
  • salt and black pepper to taste

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease a baking dish with 1 tbsp butter.
  2. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions. Remove pasta when they are still al dente.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together the crumbled feta, eggs, milk, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  4. Layer the spaghetti in the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  5. Pour the egg, milk, and feta mixture over the spaghetti, ensuring it coats everything evenly.
  6. Spread the remaining butter over the casserole. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese all over the dish.
  7. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until golden and set.
  8. Let cool slightly before slicing. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

You can assemble the entire dish up to 24 hours in advance and refrigerate it. When ready to serve, allow it to come to room temperature for about 30 minutes before baking, adding an extra 5-10 minutes to the baking time if it's still cool from the refrigerator.
